5. Analysis Tools and Advertising
5.1 Google Analytics
This website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics allows the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. This provides the website operator with various usage data, such as page views, duration of visits, operating systems used, and user origin. Google may compile this data into a profile associated with the individual user or their device.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of users for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its web offerings and advertising. If consent was requested (e.g., for the storage of cookies), processing is solely based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
5.2 IP Anonymization
We have enabled IP anonymization on this website. This means your IP address is truncated by Google within EU member states or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being sent to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then truncated. On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Google Ads allows us to display ads in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when users enter specific search terms (keyword targeting). Additionally, targeted ads can be shown based on the user data available to Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). As website operators, we can quantitatively analyze these data, such as which search terms led to our ads being displayed and how many ads resulted in clicks.
The use of Google Ads is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its services and products.

Google Ireland Limited („Google“)
Gordon House
Barrow Street
Dublin 4
Ireland
Additionally, the remarketing audiences created with Google Remarketing can be linked with Google’s cross-device features. This allows interest-based, personalized ads that were tailored to your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., phone) to be shown on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).If you have a Google account, you can opt-out of personalized advertising at the following link: Google Ads Settings.
The use of Google Remarketing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the most effective marketing of its products. If consent was requested, processing is solely based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information and privacy notices, visit Google’s Privacy Policy.
5.7 Audience Targeting with Customer Matching
For audience targeting, we use Google Remarketing’s customer matching. This involves passing certain customer data (e.g., email addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the customers are Google users and logged into their Google accounts, they will see relevant ads within the Google network (e.g., on YouTube, Gmail, or in search results).
5.8 Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The provider is
Google Ireland Limited („Google“)
Gordon House
Barrow Street
Dublin 4
Ireland
Google Conversion Tracking helps us and Google determine whether users have performed specific actions. For example, we can analyze which buttons on our website were clicked most frequently and which products were viewed or purchased most often. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which actions they performed. We do not receive any information that allows us to personally identify users. Google uses cookies or similar recognition technologies for identification.
The use of Google Conversion Tracking is based on Art.

To display interest-based ads, DoubleClick must recognize the viewer and associate their visited websites, clicks, and other user behavior information with them. DoubleClick uses cookies or similar recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting) for this purpose. The collected information is compiled into a pseudonymous user profile to show the user relevant ads.
The use of Google DoubleClick serves targeted advertising purposes, which constitutes a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If consent was requested (e.g., for the storage of cookies), processing is solely based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website, and we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, allowing connections to the respective user profile and enabling Facebook to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook’s data usage policy. This allows Facebook to show ads on Facebook and elsewhere. We cannot influence this use of data as website operators.
The use of Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising, including on social media.
